Please pray for the classes with the children.  Gabriela, a young girl from the church
has just started working with us, helping with the children in classes and also doing an
inventory of all the children´s materials.  It makes a big difference to have an extra pair
of hands in class. Please pray for her as she gets to know the children and that we will
be able to encourage her and involve her in this ministry.

Also for improved relationships with some of the parents in the prison so we can
positively work alongside them and continue to involve their children in the activities.
We have had some problems with one family in particular. Please pray for restored
relationships.
The transport situation with the children - we've found a 21 seater mini bus in Santa
Cruz that would be perfect for the children.  It's almost double the size of the truck and
would be a lot safer since the kids would be inside sitting down on seats instead of
piled into the back of a pick-up truck!  It would also save time at the weekends and
would allow us to bring the children out of the home and the prison all at once and have
a the capacity to take them out on special day trips and outings.  Please pray that God
would guide us on this issue and provide the additional finance required to trade in the
truck and buy the mini bus.
We took Chepi to Santa Cruz last week for his heart tests and we have to go back and
speak to the cardiologist here to find out what the next step is.  The doctor in Santa
Cruz thought that he would need surgery so we're waiting to see what the doctor here
thinks.  Please keep praying for Chepi and that if surgery is necessary, that we'll be
able to find local organisations to help cover the medical costs with a grant for the
surgery.
For us as a newly married couple, and that God would guide us and use us in His
work here.  That he would help us to work together with the children in a really
positive way and that we would be an example of a couple living for Him and serving
Him. Also that we would continue to grow spiritually and know him more each day.

Also for Rachel´s health.  She is still suffering from frequent headaches and insomnia.
Gabriela is getting on well and is a big help with the children. The
relationships with parents in the prison has improved greatly aond we're
getting on well with every family.  We thank God for restoring relationships
and blessing us with good relationships with children and parents.
More anwered prayer!  We have received a donation to cover half the cost of
the mini-bus and with the sale of the truck, we will have all the finance
necessary to buy the mini-bus.  God willing, we will have the mini-bus by the
end of the month.
Chepi is keeping well and has had no recent health problems with his heart
condition.  The cardiologist here agrees that surgery is the answer and we
are waiting to hear from him if there is some way of arranging the surgery
during the school holidays (December-February)  We are still looking for
organisations here that help with children's operation costs.
Rachel's health is much better - still not great, but better than before and for
that we are grateful.  Please continue to pray for us, our relationship,
testimony and work together for the Lord
